Immune System Booster Smoothie with Turmeric and Vitamin C

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients:
1 banana frozen & sliced
1 cup mango peeled & cut into chunks (about 1 large fresh mango)
2 oranges peeled & cut into quarters
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
2 teaspoons Vitamin C powder
4 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides powder (unflavored) or use your favorite protein powder
1/2 cup water or milk (you can also use coconut or almond milk)
Instructions:
Place banana, mango and oranges in your blender.
Add the turmeric powder, vitamin C powder and collagen peptides.
Add water (or milk).
Blend until very smooth.
Serve immediately & Enjoy!
Make it a meal!
You can add in one or a few of these ingredients to make this smoothie into a meal.
1/2 cup rolled oats. Blend your oats until they are finely ground before you proceed with the instructions above.
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon for a less intense taste)
Recipe Notes:
Fresh or frozen fruits? The choice is really up to you. I enjoy a creamy smoothie and freezing the fruits help achieve that.
If using oats and/or chia seeds, you may need to add more water or milk if you don't like thick smoothies.
